When Karen got into real estate in 2002, she wasn’t sure it was going to work out. She hated most salespeople and told us she was “just here to help out until you can find my replacement”. We knew she would be great. She started out as our admin support/ listing and closing manager and quickly got into selling. Fast forward, many successful years later - she is still going strong and is as passionate as ever about this business. Karen keeps it real. She is not into drama or pretense and has a very hands-on, roll-up-her-sleeves approach to her sellers and buyers. She does a great job of helping sellers get their houses prepped and show-ready to get the highest offer possible. It is not unusual for her to plant flowers to help a property show better. Karen excels at getting buyers into their dream homes even with multiple offers. She has lots of experience with negotiating and has worked with every kind of buying situation including VA, relocation, short sales, and foreclosures. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does.

 Karen grew up in Gastonia and Lake Wylie. She and her family have lived in Steele Creek for 30 years, so she knows the Charlotte, Lake Wylie, Rock Hill, and Gastonia markets well. She has won many accolades including “Best in Client Satisfaction” through Charlotte Magazine several years in a row. Several real estate companies try to recruit her away from us every year. We have been very clear that it is not an option for her to work elsewhere and that we will hunt her down and bring her back! 

Karen is married to Terry Glenn. They have two grown daughters Mallory and Moriah. When she is not selling real estate, Karen loves spending time with her family, especially her grandson Max and her nieces. She also loves spending time in nature, trying new restaurants, and digging in her garden.
