My family moved to the Carolina’s from Binghamton NY in 1979. We settled in Concord, NC where I attended Northwest Cabarrus High School then went on to attend Appalachian State University and finished my BS in political science at UNCC. I married my wonderful husband, Jeff, two weeks after graduation.
We started our lives together in the University City area. All three of our children were born at University Hospital. In the mid 90’s the tech company I was working for downsized me. I will be forever grateful for the re-education funds they provided me that allowed me to attend Mercy School of Nursing. The knowledge I gained about both the Science and Art of Nursing has stuck with me long after I stopped working for Carolinas Medical Center as a Registered Nurse.
Early in the 2000s Jeff had the opportunity to take over his Mom’s feed store, Carolina Country Store, in Indian Land, SC. The chance to work for myself and with my husband was enough for me to leave nursing to start a new adventure. We were living in Matthews, NC but made the move to Indian Land to be closer to the store. We loved the slower pace of Indian Land. Once the kids finished college (Cam – Clemson, Kelsey – York Tech and Jillian – York Tech). Jeff and I were looking to downsize. We are currently loving our life on Lake Wylie.
As a kid I moved 11 times before I finished high school, and Jeff and I have bought and sold several properties around the Charlotte area. Every house has felt like home and every move has been exciting and rewarding. I love meeting new people. I love helping people. I love the adventure of finding the perfect home or maybe the not so perfect house that we can make into the perfect home. With all that love, real estate is the perfect adventure for me.
I would love sit down and talk to you about what you want your next adventure to be. I call on all of my life experience to help you navigate the buying process and make it as stress free as possible. I want help you to find a home that makes you deliriously happy!
